" just finished rebuilding the carbs off an 1984 Aspencade. I followed your video series on the GL1200 carb rebuild and the result were wonderful! It had sat for 2 years and It ran with the choke on, but hesitated and sputtered with choke off. I originally was just going to clean the pilot jets, but I found your course during an internet search. It inspired me to do a full blown carb tear down and rebuild, including the “service bulletin” upgrade. I simply followed your video step by step throughout the rebuild process. I bought a carb rebuild kit from Randakk’s, and main and pilot jets from Jets R Us. I just reinstalled the carb this afternoon, and it fired right up. What a difference! It’s super responsive, revs like a race bike! I’m idling at about 1200, I have to set the idle and sync the carbs, but I’m thrilled with the results so far! I’m 59 years old. I’ve been riding on and off my whole life, but this is the first complete carb rebuild I’ve tackled. I wouldn’t have attempted it if I hadn’t had your videos to walk me through the whole process. $40 well spent! Tomorrow I’ll set the idle and sync the carbs and get out and ride. I’m happy that I found your site!"
